30 minutes · One apex domain · A written price either way

The demo is us mapping your estate, live.

There is no scripted product tour against a sample tenant. You give us one apex domain, a ShadowMap engineer maps it while you watch, and we walk through what came back — including the parts that turn out to be dull. Thirty minutes, and nothing to prepare at your end.

Before · During · After

What actually happens on the call

Every step exists because the one before it happened, so this is the order it runs in rather than a menu of things that might come up.

The variables behind that number are published in full on the pricing page, and how the platform arrives at a finding in the first place is on how it works. Neither is homework — read them afterwards if you want to check our arithmetic.

Preparation

What to bring — it is a short list

No access to grant, no credentials to issue, no environment to prepare. Only the first row is something we genuinely cannot start without.

What to have ready before a ShadowMap demo
What to bringWhy we ask for itNeeded?
Your apex domain Everything else is discovered from it — subdomains, hosts, reachable services, exposed panels and the cloud footprint attached to them. Required
Just the apex: acmecorp.com, not https:// and not www. One is enough to start; more than one is fine.
Subsidiaries, acquisitions and trading names Inherited estates are where an outside-in map usually finds the things nobody is watching, because nobody built them and nobody was handed them. Recommended
Mid-acquisition and unable to name the target? Say so and we will scope around it rather than ask you to disclose it.
The brands you have registered Brand coverage is counted per registered brand, so this is both what we watch and part of what sets your price. Recommended
Whoever owns remediation The back half of the call is what you would do about what we found, and that conversation is better with the person who would have to do it in the room. Optional

What we do, and do not do, while you watch
  • Outside-in only. Nothing is installed, no agent, no credentials handed over, and nothing is touched that is not already reachable from the public internet.
  • Recovered credentials are reported, never used. If something of yours is live we tell you so you can revoke it — we do not demonstrate access with it.
  • Nothing is exploited to prove a point. Validation runs only inside a scope agreed at onboarding, so a live first pass is discovery — where a finding is unconfirmed we label it that way on the call rather than present it as confirmed.
  • A live map is a first pass. It is not the depth of a continuously monitored estate, and we will not present it as one.

Deliberately excluded

  • No screenshots of another customer's tenant. Our demo tenant is synthetic; the only real data on screen is yours.
  • No slide deck read aloud at you. If you would rather read than watch, take the written route below — same product, same domain, findings written down.

If a call is not how you buy

There is a written route that skips the calendar entirely

Plenty of security teams want to see the output before they put a vendor in their diary, which is a reasonable position. The Exposure Snapshot is the same product run against the same apex domain — the findings are written down instead of narrated.

The thirty-minute call

What you give us
One apex domain, plus any subsidiaries and brands you want in scope, and half an hour in your calendar.
How it runs
A ShadowMap engineer maps it live while you watch, then walks through the findings and answers platform, architecture and integration questions in the same session.
What you leave with
A draft of your attributed inventory, and a written pricing letter within one business day — whether or not you take it further.

No call required

The written exposure snapshot

What you give us
One apex domain, your name, your company and a work email. Nothing in your calendar, and nothing to install.
How it runs
We run ShadowMap against it and write up what is reachable from outside. Two business days, asynchronously, with no engineer waiting on your reply.
What you leave with
A written snapshot of the assets we can attribute to you, the credentials already circulating, the code and secrets in public places, and the look-alike domains wearing your brand. Yours to keep — not a teaser with the findings redacted.
Request the snapshot

Both routes end in the same place if you want them to. Nothing about taking the snapshot first makes the call redundant, and nothing about taking the call commits you to anything beyond reading the letter that follows it.

Bring one apex domain. Take the pricing letter either way.

Thirty minutes with a ShadowMap engineer, your external estate mapped while you watch, and a written price based on what we actually found rather than on a seat count.
